With over 30 years of combined experience, Sycamore Home Co. recognizes that constructing such large investments comes with great responsibility. For that very reason, we have designed a process that is meant to ensure not just the satisfaction, but true happiness.

And while we realize the construction process will never be without its share of bumps and turns, we have chosen to commit ourselves to transparency, honesty and straightforward communication.

01.  inquiry

Consultation

We'd love to hear from you! Please reach out to us with more information about yourself, your project and any other details that would be helpful for us to know beforehand.

02.  consultation

During this meeting you'll meet with our in-house staff to discuss the finer details of your project. We ask that you bring any existing materials to this meeting. From here, we will leave with a focused plan.

03.  letter of intent

04. DESIGN MEETING

Planning + Design

We build truly custom homes, not spec homes with modifications. Sycamore Home Co. is proud to work directly with Jordan Jones Interior Design to bring our clients an industry-leading experience. We encourage our clients to spend a significant portion of time on this step. Learn more about working with Jordan here.

05. DRAFTING

Moving from interior design to blueprints has proven to be the point where things most often get lost in translation. Not with us. Every measurement, every design note, every detail: notated. In-house. By our dedicated draftsman, Tyler Wallace, alongside Jordan. This step is painstakingly tedious because we highly value attention to detail. Learn more about working with Tyler here.

06. BIDS & SPECS

Once a set of drafts has been fully finalized and signed off on, the client's plans are assessed for a bid. Sycamore Home Co. is committed to providing realistic, fully transparent bids to allow our clients to make the best decision possible for themselves and their budgets.

Once the bid has been accepted by the client, our team assembles the project's Build Specifications, outlining all specific materials and necessary construction details. Our focus during this step sets the entire up for success.

07. TEAM BRIEF

Construction

Over communicating every detail is who we are. During this final planning meeting, we assemble as a team to review critical design and construction details, as well as answer any questions regarding construction, the draw process, invoicing, the selections process, or financing.

08. CONSTRUCTION

After all of the hard work leading up to this moment, we finally break ground and begin construction on the client's project. With a Project Manager walking alongside them throughout the entire process, our clients can rest assured knowing that their project is being cared for in the same way they would.

10. WALKTHROUGHS

Throughout the construction process, our clients have multiple opportunities to walk their project with their construction and design team, allowing us to physically map out our client's wishes.

09. SELECTIONS

As construction begins, our clients begin working with Jordan to make all of their final selections - from paint to tile and hardware to countertops, each detail is carefully noted and ordered to ensure timeliness and accuracy.

11. FINAL TOUCHES

As the project comes to a close, our clients again have the opportunity to walk their project with their construction and design team to notate any loose ends or lingering items that need to be addressed prior to their move-in date.

By the end of a project, we could not be happier to see our clients beyond pleased with the stunning home we created together. 

13. FINANCING

Post-Construction

Although many of these details are set-up prior to construction, at the time of closing on permanent financing, lenders are often in need of many documents, certificates, or other details that we are happy to assist in proving.

14. warranty

Following a client's move-in date or possession date, whichever comes first, Sycamore Home Co. provides a 1 Year Warranty on all new construction homes. We personally ensure that all requests are met in a timely manner.
